    AV Service Technician

    The service technician provides technical support, troubleshooting/service calls, team guidance/assistance and final close out of a project as well as dumping programming code, DSP configuration and making final and/or resetting adjustments to the system. They also act as mentors and trainers to other technical staff. They are the customer support face for Texadia for technical support after the installation. This position can also onboard or help commission a system, plus walkthrough and training with client. This role could be handling one or multiple projects simultaneously.

    Essential Roles and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for service/support calls, troubleshooting in the most efficient and effective manner to assure timely completion and maximum performance. All installations/service calls must meet the highest quality standards set forth while assuming a professional environment on site by self and installation teams.
    • Work with programmer on loading control system programs/code and ability to tweaks during service call or support during installation projects and upgrade associated with service or change orders.
    • Configure DSP settings, troubleshooting and testing.
    • Assistance with pre-installation site survey when needed.
    • Inspect and test fabricated racks in-house or onsite at client location.
    • Post project walkthrough with client, hand off to service.
    • Client training and system overview.
    • Understand, perform and quality check rigging/mounting of equipment and displays.

    Structured Cabling Technician

    The Technician or Lead Technician is expected to install or possibly manage, direct and perform all aspects of a low voltage cabling project, including…work directly with onsite project management, GC, lead a team of cable technicians and installers, read and understand construction drawings and blueprints, work effectively with other trades, technology closet build-out, cable terminations, testing/verifying and labeling to industry standards. This includes call cable types. Both Technician and Lead will work with AV Team and learn installation of AV and other technologies outside structured cabling.

    Essential Roles and Responsibilities

    • Installation of structured cabling systems including all aspects of the installation process.
    • Reads and interprets all floorplans, drawings, and specifications.
    • Properly sets up a variety of cable type testers to include fiber.
    • Performs system testing and troubleshooting as required.
    • Terminates, labels, tests, and troubleshoots optical fiber and all cable types for installations.

    Commercial Lead Technician

    The Project Lead/Lead Technician provides technical installation, completion and close out of a project as well as possibly dumping code and making final adjustments to the system. They are the client onsite project interface throughout the installation process. They act as mentors and trainers to other technical staff. They can act as a Project Foreman on larger complex projects. Project Leads/Lead Technicians should be flexible and function in Residential or Commercial environments.     Systems Engineer
